Notes for Wells Hale WESCOTT
age 67y 10m 5d at death
According to information which I received from Ann Method on July 29, 2000, she writes, "The only information that I have is that Amanda (Wells Hale's mother) is from Westbrook, Maine (next town over from Gorham). We have a Bible that was given to her son, Wells Hale, signed by her mother Lydia Hale. There is a minister that was sent to Georgia in the 1840s to recover his health and he died down there. Jonathon Hale might be her father, but we have no proof. Lydia Hale shows up as a widow in the 1840's Maine census with multiple children.
Cause of Death: Heart Attack - Valvular Heart Disease, Angina Pectoris Indigestion
