Collins age at death is listed as 74. He is buried in Grave 1, Section 3, Lot 58 next to his wife and Charles (Wlm Henry’s son). The 1850 census of Columbia County, WI, Randolph Township has Collins listed as having a first name that is illegible and a second name of Collins. The 1915 Minneapolis City Directory has: Thomas, Dorcas (wid. Grant C.). The records found in Columbia County Courthouse all list him as Graves C. Dorcas’s death certificate lists him as Graves C. Collins was a Private in the Civil War, Company D, 8th Infantry. He served from 18 July 1861 to 5 September 1865. The Burial records list him as Graves C. On his tombstone is listed Company D Eagle Reg Wisc. Inf.13
