The 1915 Minneapolis City Directory has: Thomas, Dorcas (wid. Grant C.). The records found in Columbia County Courthouse all list him as Graves C. Dorcas’s death certificate lists him as Graves C. Collins was a Private in the Civil War, Company D, 8th Infantry. He served from 18 July 1861 to 5 September 1865. The Burial records list him as Graves C. On his tombstone is listed Company D Eagle Reg Wisc. Inf.13
