339Came to America in the ship “James”, landing in Boston 3 June 1635. He lived in Newbury, MA, till 1640, then in Dover, NH, till 1649, when he settled in Kittery. He was often juryman and selectman. In 1660 he was fined for entertaining Quakers and disfranchised. This led him to remove to Portsmouth, RI where he was living in 1680. His children were James, another son whose name is unknown and Rebecca.
