76 He married Sarah (Thompson) on the 9th of December 1686 in York, ME by John Wincoll, Esq., J. P. (NEHGR, 28:118; 49:46). According to LND James was with his brother Thomas and given land by his father on the 14th day of July 1683. He served on the jury in 1696 and 1697. James was killed by Indians on the 31st of July 1697.
