Was in Hingham, MA, in 1635. He moved to Watertown, MA, where he was living in 1650. Soon after he moved to Kittery, where he first appears on record in 1655. He lived a shirt time at Quamphegan and later near Birch Point in South Berwick. A Nicholas Hodsdon was killed by Indians in Wells in 1704.83
