With partners James Wall and John Mason, dated 13 March 1633-4, to build mills in Berwick and run them on shares, arrived on the -Pied Cow- July 8. The Chadbournes both of Old and New England were housewrights, going wherever building was in progress. Their home apparently in Winchcombe, Glouestershire, Humphery was baptized in Tamworth, Warwickshire. Apparently all came over together. One William was administrator inhabitant of Portsmouth, Rhode Island. in 1642, both were at Boston in 1643. (In June, 1643, William Chadbourne Senior and others were up for drinking too much.) It was likelier the son in Kittery in 1652; both father and son may have gone back to England76
