In New Hampshire 14 November 1678 he was appointed administrator on his brothers James estate. In 1681 was on committee to procure timber for building the Scarborough fort. Next year removed to Falmouth (South Portland) where he married Sarah Drake, and in 1685 removed to her native town, Hampton, where he settled in the region now Rye or Greenland. Will 20 February - 5 March 1717-18 names wife Jane (Racklet, widow of William, married 6 January 1717-18) and 7 children. She was still his widow 25 March 1723-24.76
