Was in Dover in 1665 and was a juryman in 1667-9, 1671 and 1688. He married Mary, daughter of William Chadbourne, and she is mentioned in Humphrey Chadbourne’s will, 1667. He may have married (2) Sarah Gosse 15 August 1688. John Fost made his will 17 December 1699, which was probated 17 April 1700, it names his wife Elizabeth and 7 children.83
