William appears to be the son of Williams first wife - name unknown.
76Documents similar to the ones for his brother James (to return items to his mother-in-law - stepmother) are quoted in sources. I have a copy of James papers, but have not been able to find a copy of Williams. In no known records is it recorded that Martha Cross is the parent of any of William's children. Some claim to have see an old bible, many years ago, that did give his first wifes name as Martha See the evidence presented in the notes for his father Willaim Durgin
