Resident "Of Epping"; Moved to Sanbornton, NH in the summer of 1768. Hist of Sanborton, NH says he moved Sanbornton, NH June 1768 settling on the late Wm Durgin place, Lot No. 67, 2d Div., on the Tin Corner Road. Their first house was of logs, thirty or more rods northwest of the present, on the hill; house No. 2, a few rods north of present; house No. 3, that is now occupied by William Jackson Durgin, b. Mar. 21, 1829, son of William & Abiah (Hill) Durgin; son of John & Lydia (Morrison) Durgin; son of William & Hannah (Eliot) Durgin; son of Francis & Sarah (Marston) Durgin)
