641Jonathan came to Nova Scotia with his wife about 1760-61, and was a Grantee in Barrington Township. He shows up in the 1762 Census of Barrington and Liverpool Townships "...plus two..." as a "...Plymouth person..." Jonathan sold out at the Head to John Sargent and moved to Cape Negro where he had Second Division Lot No 11, and where most of his family settled. Jonathan was one of those who came to Port Latour for summer fishing before any families moved from cape Cod to Barrington. His sons, Samuel, Abram and Jonathan also made their homes in the same neighbourhood. Jonathan died in 1807 at the age of 82.
