Petitioned for protection by Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Sholes, Portsmouth, held Thomas Dew’s note of 20 March 1675-76 and sued John Baker on it in 1682. At the Shoals living form his wife in June 1678 and had been absent 6 or 7 years in 1679 when he put in as evidence a letter dated 20 June 1679 from wife Esther to loving husband Daniel saying “our daughter Elizabeth is dead, rest of our children well” and “must consider whether I leave my native country.” In 1680 in Maine court he acknowledge judgment to Henry Williams in Edward Hounsell’s behalf, and for himself sued John Parrot in Portsmouth court. Taxed Portsmouth 1681, Oath of allegiance 28 August 1685, hired the Glebe in Portsmouth for one year in April 1691, Daniel and shop taxed 1691, last seen 1694. Whether wife or children came unknown.
