Pagev 476, Married his step niece Hannah Wight on 20 Octobet 1805. On 22 April 1806 his widow filed with the probate court (Han Co Probate #1). “Captain Pelatiah Waiscoat” was one of the persons on the “List of Letters Remaining in the Post Office at Castine, April 22, 1802, suggesting he may have been away for an extended period, possibly at sea. The probate of his estate was not finally settled until c1815 with the admistration changing to Joseph and Hannah Devereux (Han Co Probate #1)88
